In 2012 The School of the Art Institute had some of the top type designers working in the industry come for some lectures. The poster and all of the marketing collateral is a combination of CMYK colors with the seminal modern font Univers.
A book designed to commemorate and celebrate the global art movement coined as Dada that marked a real turning point in the world of design and expression in the 20th century. The book is made to create the same feeling that Dada work has. The work also showcases the text by Leah Dickerman, a scholar on Dada.

Advertisement designed for high-end department store, SATORI. Image is a combination of collage and photoshopped elements. Designed to visually describe satori, the buddhist term for sudden enlightenment.
The 2003 Blackout that occurred in the Northeast and Midwest was one that made history. Never before had a power failure caused so much damage and turmoil. It was a complicated event that is hard to understand. After condensing down the 200 Page Official Government Blackout Report to a 22 x 30" poster it can be understood in a matter of minutes. Collaborative project, responsible for design, graphics and a reasonable amount of research.
Schmitzschtuckel Winery of Mendecino, CA believes that good wine is like a smooth jazz song when it hits your taste buds. They came to me looking for a branding that would reflect the feelings of those taste buds. Here are the results.
Alan Lightman's book Einstein's Dreams will put your imagination to the test. Some of the imagery is so amazing one can hardly comprehend how Lightman put these visions into words. The book and poster is an abstract interpretation of the work.
